What Particular Song or Musical Track Makes You Happy And Feel Motivated? Why?

Two jazz compositions by Vincent Ingala entitled: CAN'T STOP NOW and IMAGINE. Why? Because these two tracks motivate me to exercise and to simply get up and start moving my body. Then I feel better mentally and emotionally๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜€

Walking On Sunshine - Katrina And The Waves

It's just such a catchy and happy tune that it makes me smile just to think about it. MTV was made for songs like this!

It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice.

Dela (Savuka)--the instrumentation is so bright and hopeful, and the lyrics are about head-over-heels crazy love:  "One day I looked up and there you were
Like a simple question looking for an answer
Now I am the whale listening to some inner call
Swimming blindly to throw myself upon your shore"

I like the piece "Winter" from Vivaldi's Four Seasons.  I hum it without realizing that I've started humming, and each phrase, as it goes higher and higher on the musical scale, gets me more enthused!

For happy, feel good music, I usually listen to The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, and folk-rock. It's pleasant, has nice harmonies, fun to sing along with.

If I want to get motivated, especially to move and exercise, or just doing housework, then it's to the old hard rock music like Steppenwolf, Bob Seger, The Guess Who, Led Zepplin.

For something in the middle, I like to listen to Celtic music, especially Mary Black, Enya, The High Kings and Celtic Thunder.

Almost any dance tune from the 60s gets me up and moving. When I feel myself getting lazy, I turn to the Golden Oldies music channel and start dancing! Good exercise as well as motivation.

Try it!

Pretty much anything by Enya makes me feel calm and copacetic.  Take a breath and listen and it brings me a bit of peace.

"Feelin' Stronger Everyday" - Chicago. My favorite pick-me-up song. A great one that realizes gaining strength after a major downer is a slow process that you may never get completely over but will feel "stronger everyday".

Fairport Convention's "Come All Ye" off of their "Liege & Lief" album. Sandy Denny's beautiful voice and the band's instrumentation gets you dancing and singing whenever it's played!
