What Particular Song or Musical Track Makes You Happy And Feel Motivated? Why?
Two jazz compositions by Vincent Ingala entitled: CAN'T STOP NOW and IMAGINE. Why? Because these two tracks motivate me to exercise and to simply get up and start moving my body. Then I feel better mentally and emotionally😃😀

Walking On Sunshine - Katrina And The Waves
It's just such a catchy and happy tune that it makes me smile just to think about it. MTV was made for songs like this!
It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice.

Dela (Savuka)--the instrumentation is so bright and hopeful, and the lyrics are about head-over-heels crazy love: "One day I looked up and there you were
Like a simple question looking for an answer
Now I am the whale listening to some inner call
Swimming blindly to throw myself upon your shore"

For happy, feel good music, I usually listen to The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, and folk-rock. It's pleasant, has nice harmonies, fun to sing along with.
If I want to get motivated, especially to move and exercise, or just doing housework, then it's to the old hard rock music like Steppenwolf, Bob Seger, The Guess Who, Led Zepplin.
For something in the middle, I like to listen to Celtic music, especially Mary Black, Enya, The High Kings and Celtic Thunder.

To our Online Community Members,
We wanted to let you know that our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service have been updated. The changes are intended to foster more civil discussions in AARP’s online communities. The issues discussed in these communities – including healthcare, retirement and politics – are serious and stir up strong emotions. We should have spirited debates about all of them, but those debates should always be respectful, on topic and fact based. We will be applying these standards in our online communities as we work together, with all of you, to address the challenges that face older Americans. Thank you.
