Low Country Blues  is really good.

There's  a great Paul Simon album that just came out. The best thing he's done since Graceland. Some funny stuff about being at heaven's gate and having to take a number and fill out a form to get in. Kind of like the DMV!

Hi Lenny,

Nice to see you back here.  Hope you'll stick around.  You are so right about DBT.  Got to see them in concert last year thanks to your recommendation and was not disappointed.

Hi Cindy,

Sounds like you found some good ones too.  I'm not much into country these days.  Was a big fan a few years back.  Love Brooks & Dunn and some of the older artists like Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, George & Tammy, etc.

"Bang On The Drum All Day" was always the rock anthem on my favorite radio station every Friday.  TGIF!

I've been going to the library alot lately and increasing my CD collection.  Hard to believe that with all I have there is still more out there.  Here's what I picked up this week:

1. The List by Rosanne Cash (some of the songs from the list of 100 songs that Johnny felt she should know).

2.  Sandinista! by The Clash

3. Move Along by All American Rejects

4. Gene Vincent's Greatest Hits

5. Pressure Chief - Cake

6.  Chad & Jeremy's Greatest Hits

7. Bowie at the Beeb - David Bowie -(3 CD's at the BBC Radio Theatre in London)

As you can see it's quite a variety.

After reading Today In Rock N Roll History posted by Diane which I look forward to I was inspired to give a listen to these guys. It's been awhile, and they're always good for a smile or sometimes a belly laugh.

I really enjoyed that after I got over the shock of seeing the "Big Love" girl singing and playing. Had no idea she is also an excellent musician. Plus I've always liked that song.

The Bird and The Bee are a duet that has recently gone into a new project called "Interpreting the Masters". Volume 1, from last year is a salute to Darryl Hall & John Oates...nice to hear a fresh spin here on "Maneater"
