Mary Hopkin.

She had a lot of good ones that I had on 45s.

She was the first artist (as far as I know) that recorded on Apple Records after the Beatles. Some say it was Badfinger, but I'm doubtful about that.

She had some interesting interactions with the Beatles, too.

Yes. She also had Knock Knock, Goodbye, Que Sera Sera, The Fields Of Ste. Ettiene, and some covers of other's songs. She had some duets with Paul McCartney.

High, higher, highest, and low, lower, lowest, are all relative terms. What happens when the highest is still not high enough? It's like saying your best is not good enough. What then? This is as good as it gets.
