Oh, I know that one. I thought it was the Platters or somebody. No wonder I haven't heard it in a while (couldn't find it).

Hmmm, what would Tupac be doing if he were still with us? I think about that from time to time. He had so many skills and talent and areas of interest! I like to imagine that he would have developed himself as a director, done more work as a social activist, and continued to scout and mentor new musical talent. Although he didn't like the world of politics he was so politically inclined so I imagine he would have been sought as a potential leader, considering his personal experiences. I could go on and on about him, because I'm a die hard fan and I see him for the Rose That Grew From Concrete that he was! Thank you for posing your thoughts about what he might be up to nowadays, I appreciate the opportunity to share my own thoughts about one of my favorite artists ever! I also love Tom Jones, Rick Springfield, the late Selena Q. Perez, and the Wu Tang Clan.

In reference to Epster's post about Depeche Mode:
They're an interesting band, but, for me it's an aquired taste. They have a way expressing views that I don't agree with (totaly) in an acceptible way. The best example of this is in Enjoy The Silence. They say, "Words are very, uneccessary. They can only do harm.". That has to be taken with a grain of salt, because it's not always true. But they have a way saying it that makes sense. In contrast, I wish you would listen to the Bee Gees' song, "Words", where they say, "....But words are all I have to take your heart away.".
The thing about Depeche Mode, is that it's not immediately appearant whether the song is good or not. You have to hear it a few times to detect the nuances. But their presentation of it, the music and all, is acepptable enough to allow for that.
That's why, for me, they're interesting, but an aquired taste.
By the way, I do have two albums of theirs.

Good Song, but those animated ink-blots were brilliant. They even made sense in-time with the song. They weren't just random. Thanks for the post.

I checked it out. The Sound Of Silence is a good song, and it's hard to mess it up. However, I still prefer Simon & Garfunkel's version. I get it why Disturbed put a little anger in his voice towards the end. But, some good "musicality" was lost in the process. He needs to keep his anger musical to make a good song. That's the main reason Hard Rock is not my favorite genre. The "harder" it gets, the less musical it gets.
