When replying to a post about "Lost Stars" by Adam Levine, I said that youth doesn't even know that there is a "right or wrong" to be aware of. That everything just "is".  And that reminded me of a song that I don't really remember what the official name is, so I'll just call it "There Ain't No Good Guy, There Ain't No bad Guy, There's Just You & Me, And We Just Disagree", which I think is by Dave Mason.

I forgot more songs than I can remember. Too bad, I like so many.

I don't know what to make of this version. It's too unusual. Sam The Sham & The Pharoes' version had a consistent mood for the lyrics. A female singing this song with that mood/atmosphere is strange to me. I don't know what to make of it. It's not bad, but I'm obviously missing something here.

Last week I saw Matthew and Gunnar Nelson at Busch Gardens, here in Tampa.  They did a tribute show to their dad, Rick Nelson.  Their show lasted only an hour, and they spent some of that time talking about their dad and showing old video clips, so they could not begin to cover all of Rick Nelson's hits.  They managed to cover my 2 particular Rick Nelson favorites, "Poor Little Fool" and "Lonesome Town".  Guess I should add that when they do their dad's tunes, they perform them in their dad's style, and not their own heavy metal style.  So.....since seeing that show, I have been listening to a CD of Rick Nelson's Greatest Hits, where "Poor Little Fool" probably gets the most play.   The opening notes to that song always bring a smile to my face!
