Am watching/listening to the first 30 minutes of a 3 hr program on cable channel "Palladia":

     Strat Pack Celebrates 50th Anniversary  of Fender Stratocaster

omg, the talent on this program is incredible - well worth a look and listen!

*note:  I just learned this film was released in 2005, so it has been around for awhile.  Tho' I have just discovered it, I guess some of you may already be well-acquainted with it!

Probably because oldest boy watched it daily for years, I can remember the phone number of someone's father on Long Island that I haven't seen for a good forty years...the new manager in my department? Diane,  You are always listening to something interesting!  Over a year ago, I spent a dollar at our local library's "used bookstore", to purchase a used CD, Patty Loveless' "Only What I Feel".  I was vaguely familiar with Loveless - knew enough about her to know I would probably not despise the CD I was purchasing.  Turns out I love the songs on that CD and I love her delivery on that album.  The last few days, that is what I have been listening to while scooting around in my car.  Her material is great for "sing along", too, though I do the other drivers on the road a favor, & keep my windows closed while indulging! LOL  That was a dollar well spent, the day I bought that used CD.   Pam

       The radio station here that has 80's weekend every weekend,

on Sat. every other song is from the 80's, and on Sundays it's Casey

Kasem's top 40 from the 80's.

I believe I have mentioned before, that sometimes I like to listen to the same song, repeatedly, while driving around in my car, attending to errands.  Yesterday it was the energizing and happy "Walk Of Life" by Dire Straits.    One of the best songs ever and well worth listening to over and over again!
