Rocky Horror Sound track  !!

Perfect for Halloween

Life's a Journey, not a Destination" Aerosmith
Social Butterfly

Come on nyadm.., I have the toilet paper and popcorn ready, a wee **bleep** of Rock n' Rye..."Let's do the time warp..." WhooooohooooI'd break a hip

More like a brain worm in my head tonight. Explain to me how we forget important things, passwords, names, dates...but I can remember every word to the Teenage Mutant Turtle cartoon theme song. Probably because oldest boy watched it daily for years, I can remember the phone number of someone's father on Long Island that I haven't seen for a good forty years...the new manager in my department? Nope

Diane,  You are always listening to something interesting!  Over a year ago, I spent a dollar at our local library's "used bookstore", to purchase a used CD, Patty Loveless' "Only What I Feel".  I was vaguely familiar with Loveless - knew enough about her to know I would probably not despise the CD I was purchasing.  Turns out I love the songs on that CD and I love her delivery on that album.  The last few days, that is what I have been listening to while scooting around in my car.  Her material is great for "sing along", too, though I do the other drivers on the road a favor, & keep my windows closed while indulging! LOL  That was a dollar well spent, the day I bought that used CD.   Pam

Debut/Greatest Gainer No. 25 "Baby It's Cold Outside" Idina Menzel Duet With Michael Buble
When the first holiday song of the season hits the Adult Contemporary chart, it's a sign that Christmas can't be far away. Idina Menzel claims the honor this year, as "Baby It's Cold Outside," with Michael Buble, debuts at No. 25. The duet is from her Holiday Wishes, which entered the Nov. 1 Holiday Albums chart at No. 1.

I believe I have mentioned before, that sometimes I like to listen to the same song, repeatedly, while driving around in my car, attending to errands.  Yesterday it was the energizing and happy "Walk Of Life" by Dire Straits.  Smiley Very HappyHeart  One of the best songs ever and well worth listening to over and over again!

I LOVE Dire Straits! For me the song stuck in my head is "This Girl is on Fire" by Alicia Keys. We celebrated Mole Day at school last week and one of my students did a mole project, "This Mole is on Fire!" and I've been walking around singing that ever since haha.

My favorite music is pop and rock from the late '60's - early 70's.  I have recently begun creating stations on Spotify with the top songs from each year.  It gives me a good feeling to listen to the greatest hits from my childhood years.  My favorite artists are: Beatles (and other British Invasion groups), The Moody Blues, The Who, The Bee Gees (their older music, before Saturday Night Fever), Crosby, Stills, Nash (and Young), James Taylor, Carole King, Dan Fogelberg.   I also love Motown and soul from that time period.  I recently saw the Moody Blues in concert.  They were great.

Here is one of my old favorites...."Spill the Wine" by Eric Burdon and War.  It was made from a 45 rpm record, complete with hissing and crackles at the beginning for authenticity!
