The first that came to mind was the wonderful Connie Francis. The song "Mama" is in Italian and at the midway point changes to English. It's a beautiful number.

Mama by Connie Francis has always been my favorite.  I lost my beautiful, loving mother in August 1986 and every time I hear this song I cry, like I am now.  I miss her so very much, but I know she's in heaven watching her family from above.  I loved my mother very much, but I was not as attentive as I should have been; didn't call or go see her often enough.  Her love was always unconditional. 

For all of you who still have your mother, take the time to call and go visit her often; let her know how much you love her so you'll have no regrets.

I remember that song very much because my mother use hear on wvon radio station 1390 am every Sunday morning and when her grandmother pass away she bought the 45 record she would that song when think about when my mother pass away I couldn't find that record but I find on YouTube . I'll play it think about mom . My mom have been deceased 34year and also sadden day mother day is May 13 that my dad birthday and my dad have been deceased 17year. Shirley  Cesar song
