SONG TITLES and SONGS about DISTANCES & TRAVEL

I'll try to get this topic started with these song titles about DISTANCES/TRAVELING   ...........

*Travelin' Man     Ricky Nelson   which made it to #1 in 1961

*I Ran (So Far Away)     Flock of Seagulls

For a different approach, songs about  DISTANCES/TRAVELING...........

*Walk Away Renee'     The Left Banke

*Ferry Across The Mersey     Gerry & The Pacemakers

Uh, I am sorry if I led off with songs which you may have wanted to post here. How about this....wait a while and then post it....or post it now ! You see, repetition is OKAY Man Wink

Please understand, there's lots of freedom and latitude with this topic. Be creative....let's have plenty of laughs and plenty of wows like:  "Wow, I wish I had thought of that one!!" "Wow, that's a good one!!

@l483260l  Thanks for adding "Homeward Bound" by S&G.

Fun fact - Paul actually began writing the song in a railway station in England. He was feeling homesick and missed his girlfriend, who was not with him. She was actually in London. He completed it after he got home. The station, at Wildnes, actually has a plaque commemorating the song. At least two plaques have been stolen from the station. The newest plaque is better protected.

A good version of Canned Heat's "On The Road Again" was done by Andy Prieboy. Fans of Chuck Norris may remember this version from the movie "The Hitman". Youtube has it, but Andy's album cover is a bit avant-guard, so I hesitate to add the link. I recommend it, but with that caution.

I have not gone through this entire thread, so I will list one. I am sure somebody here knows if it is a repeat and I'll think of a different one. Smiley Wink

We had an entry from Canned Heat earlier in the thread. I can't remember if it was "Going Up The Country" or "On The Road Again" (No, not Willie's song.) So, here are both.
