At least Eric Clapton did finally marry his "Layla" (Pattie Harrison) and even remained friends with her husband, George Harrison! 

My favorite love songs are If I Fell and Here, There and Everywhere by The Beatles, and Maybe I'm Amazed by Paul McCartney.

From someone a half a generation older than most of you...

 

"Will You Love Me Tomorrow ?"  So old, but I have never liked any R&R love song more especially since Carole King wrote it when she was barely 18 years old !
