@BeatleloverKT - Agree with your list, especially some of my favorite snubs BOC, Steppenwolf, The Guess Who, Three Dog Night.
I would add Scorpions to this list as long overdue. They are known as “the ambassadors of rock” for good reason. They have been a touring band since their first album in 1972, and a world touring band for well over 40 years. They have traveled to over 80 countries (the band lost count), more than any other rock band ever, and still sell out concerts all over the world being one of the greatest live bands of all time. They have no less than three generations of fans, and have sold 75 to 100 million records worldwide.
Their core members, founder/composer/guitarist Rudolf Schenker, singer/lyricist/composer Klaus Meine, and lead guitarist/composer Matthias Jabs, have been together for about 45 years now.
They are presently in the third “retirement” tour. The first one began in 2010 for the Sting In The Tail tour ending Dec 2012. But the timing just wasn’t right, and realized they just weren’t ready.
They officially turned 50 in 2015, so they started their 50th anniversary “farewell” tour, but were still going strong in 2020 when Covid came along.
In 2022, they released their 19th studio album, Rock Believer and started their third “farewell” world tour. They probably won’t stop until they drop!
I rest my case! 🦂🤘💛😎
