Sadly wonder why I didn't remember "Light is Faster Than Sound" as sung by Janis Joplin...

Sweet, soul, lady performed an amazing psychedelic song I forgot; I'm ashamed of myself for that...

Tomorrow Never Knows - The Beatles

Lennon said it was the first Psychedelic song that he wrote. At the time, critics, as well as fans, didn’t know quite what to make of it, but it got everyone’s attention. It’s now considered one of the most significant and influential works of its kind.

Kidding me, right? I listen to something from "way back" almost nightly before bed; it gives me a feeling of safety that I'm still of this world (not that I'm afraid to leave it).

It also give me hope for the kids, g-kids and g-g-kids they will live to my age without someone with a weapon murdering them.

I have a 60’s playlist with a lot of these on it, also another with with some psychedelic “trippy” music.  I play them once in a while. Played the 60’s one just the other day.

Do you ever listen to Pink Floyd’s early albums, like Piper at the Gates of Dawn, or Saucer Full of Secrets? You can take a “trip” just listening to the album. Try Interstellar Overdrive through headphones. Now that’s trippy!

A little mentioned group "The 13th Floor Elevators" -

The Elevators were the first band to refer to their music as psychedelic rock, with the first-known use of the term appearing on their business card in January 1966.
