Grace -- Rod Stewart, among others

The back story on this song is heartbreaking. Grace is Grace Gifford, an Irish artist, who married her sweetheart, Joseph Plunkett, in Kilmainham Gaol just hours before his execution for taking part in the Easter Rising. It's a love song, but also considered a protest song because of it's anti-British sentiments.
