The End of the Innocence - Don Henley (Bruce Hornsby also had a version of this.)

Same lyrics just a different day.

Chicago     Graham Nash

We can change the world -
Re-arrange the world.

It's dying - if you believe in justice
It's dying - if you believe in freedom
It's dying - let a man live his own life
It's dying - rules and regulations, who needs them

Ball  Of  Confusion (  That's  What  The  World  Is  Today )   ==   The  Temptations

Sadly, the  lyrics  to  this  1970  song  still  ring  true  today.

"What if you knew her....."

On Friday May 1st, 1970, myself, Allison B. Krause and approximately 20-30 other students were making anti-VietNam war protest signs in Bowman Hall [poli. sci. building] on the Kent State campus. Although on Monday May 4th she was a substantial long distance from the Ohio National Guard unit, their 13 second volley of 67 bullets into a crowd of unarmed students, took the life of Allison Krause.

I knew her.
