Many, many years ago on the way to work I heard the "new" Beatles song on the radio as "Hey June".  I called my husband as soon as I got to work to tell him how thrilled I was that the Beatles had written a song with my name in it (obviously June).  What a total disappointment when I found out about 2 days later that the song was "Hey Jude".  But, I loved the song then and still do so all is good.  (and good grounding for the ego too)Smiley Happy

What about the Boz Scaggs song Lowdown?  My sister's version was

"Does your dog eat dog food just as soon as you get home?"

Correct lyrics:  "This dog eat dog existence sure is getting old"

Anyone know the words to any of Sting's songs? I had to buy the lyric book of his just to understand him. Now I know what We Work the Black Seam Together really is about! I also remember Louie Louie being pretty racy!

Yes sometimes actually reading the lyrics can be a real eye opener  LOL

One of the things I love about Aerosmith is their twisted and double meaning lyrics

I play the radio on southern stations,

'Cause southern belles have hair like mine.

'Cause southern belles are hell at night.
