Let’s Hear It for the Drummer
So far, we’ve done frontmen, guitar solos, piano, sax, and harmonica parts. But you just can’t rock without a drummer to roll with. So let’s hear it for your favorite drummers and the songs you like with best drums. It can be a drum solo, or a song with great drumming and fills and thrills. (Sorry, I don’t know the technical terms. ☹️ ) Your song and your drummer, so go for it!
My first pick does include a solo, and one of the best I’ve ever heard -
The Kids Are Alright - The Who
with the incomparable Keith Moon

Rick Allen - Def Leppard
Joined the band in '78 when he was 15. Car accident in '84. Severed his left arm, reattached, but had to amputate due to infection. The band didn't replace him. He relearned to play and had a special drum kit made.
I like this one "Desert Song" - Def Leppard. Rick Allen said it was his favorite to play. Couldn't find a video of this song with him live though. ( Attn: There is a video of this song that says it is live, but is poor quality and I doubt it is Def Leppard it just says Desert Song so beware). There are videos of some of his solos, if you care to search. There are also newer band tour video's out.

In 1970 the band Alexander Rabbitt released an album The Hunchback Of Notre Dame.
I saw them open that year for the Guess Who at St John Terrells Music Circus in Lambertville NJ. The band was awesome. On the title song they had two drummers playing in sync. I know the one drummer was Alan Fowler but not sure about the second one. For some reason, the band was overlooked. If you get the opportunity take a listen, you won't be disappointed.

Everlong - Foo Fighters / Taylor Hawkins on drums
Rock And Roll - Foo Fighters / Led Zep cover
Dave Grohl on Drums, Taylor Hawkins on vocals
Adding one more, a favorite, and Taylor just nailed it perfectly.
Best Of You - Foo Fighters
Two of the best. RIP Taylor.

Somebody To Love - Queen / Roger Taylor
I like how musical his drumming style is, and this is a good example, though there are many. This is one of my favorite Queen songs. But for sheer rock-n-roll, Brighton Rock and Flick Of The Wrist are excellent choices.

Almost hear you sigh, Stones,
Charlie Watts
It’s not just his impeccable drumming, it’s the
way he does it. This song features amazing
guitar from Keith and of course Mick. One of
my fav Stones tunes that cements why they
are one of the greatest rock bands ever. And
also how much I miss Charlie Watts 😥

In The Air Tonight - Phil Collins
Possibly one of the best known and most iconic drum fills in rock.
