I think it would be a blast fishing with Hank. I am sure he has been asked about his Dad his whole life. Hank Jr. has made a name for himself in his own right so I would ask him how he mentally overcame his accident and then I would ask him what he was using for bait.

I have listened to Hank and his fathers music since I was born,  57 years ago.  I have seen Hank in concert a few times and the last one was in Laughlin Nev. in May.   We tried to get meet and greet passes from the casino for 2 days.  They said they were all gone.  We went to the concert and the next morning we went to leave the motel and waiting for the elevator at 7 in the morning.  The doors open and there stands Hank.  There wasnt much room, but Hank says come on in boys.  I was shoulder to shoulder with him and told him what a show.  He shook my hand and said no, that was one hell of a show.  We talked for a little while and got photos,  There was one thing that I wish I would have asked him and that was, If he wanted to go fishing while he was there.  So if I could have the honor to win this, I would love to take my dad and ask Hank about the memories with his father.   Thanks

I would like to ask Hank about all the great July 4 performances on the National Mall and about how he felt when James Whatt uninvited him the Beach Boys and about 750,000 others in 84 for being and attracting "the wrong element"

In the early 80's, I suspect you were playing in or around Roanoke, Virginia. One Sunday morning my cousin and I were fishing, actually trepassing, at an old reservoir somewher near Roanoke in my dad's red 1961 snub-nosed Ford pick-up, when a blue 1970's Chevy ElComino pulled alongside and the broadly smiling, bearded, reflective lensed sunglass wearing passenger with a Bocephus t-shirt said "How ya'll doing? You don't recognize no-one do you?" To that I sheepishly asked him if I new him, duh, I was about 19 or 20 and thought we were in trouble with the landowner and drove off.  We didn't get far when I slammed on the brakes and we both looked at each other in disbelief. Had we just met, and insulted, Hank Williams, Jr.? Unbelievable!? Well, as maybe fate will have it, now is my chance to find out. If I win, this is my first question, was that actually you? What a great story it would make. Our love of fishing and the great outdoors brought us together once, will it do it again, only fate will tell!

My husband is a huge fan of Hank and this would be a lifetime experience for him. I didn't tell him about this entry because if he wins it would be the best birthday present surprise he has ever received.  He loves to sing karaoke and he sings some of Hanks songs.
