Hi ALL! I’m excited to see the most current explosion of interest in anything Beatles related! A new book titled “1964: Eyes of the Storm” Photographs and Reflections by Paul McCartney is set to come out tomorrow, June 13, and will feature unseen photos from The Beatles’ first transatlantic tour.
This will undoubtedly be the most influential Beatles news in a long time! The media world already has numerous articles praising his work ...like people magazine, theguardian.com & a slew of others... & is already abuzz on many highly regarded Rock websites like rollingstone.com
According to billboard.com 1964: Eyes of the Storm has already shot to the top of the Rock Band Biographies chart, passing Dave Grohl’s The Storyteller: McCartney’s “largely unseen photographs capture the explosive period from the end of 1963 through early 1964, in which The Beatles became an international sensation and changed the course of music history,” The 275 photos — all taken by McCartney’s 35mm camera — span The Beatles’ trips to Liverpool, London, Paris, New York, Washington, D.C., and Miami. Promising a fresh perspective from the inside....

Yesterday, I saw a copy of Life magazine at the checkout stand. On the cover was, none other than The Beatles, ca. 1964! (I couldn’t help thinking … again?)
I guess that explains it!
Hi @MaVolta Thanks for your reply....I had to chuckle at “I guess that explains it!“ 🙂....
BTW: I have that Life magazine (can’t remember if I have the whole mag or just the cover)...& boxes full of Beatles memorabilia.....that someday I have to figure out what to do with...
Take care! ☮️ 🌄 ~Allen 🌈 🎨
Funny, I thought Beatlemania had died down a bit since the Get Back movie from 2021. So I was a bit surprised to see the new Life magazine with the beloved “Mop Tops” on the cover!
Paul is not only a musical genius but has a good sense of marketing, as well. He has done a lot to keep Beatlemania alive and well all these years!
I wish I had all of my old Beatle stuff, though I don’t know what I’d do with it!
