Carlos Santana is my favorite musician. I have followed his career since the 60's. My wife and I saw him in concert in Las Vegas last year and he is still as good as he was back then. In my opinion, he is the epitome of the ultimate musical artist. We hope to attend more of his concerts in the near future. Viva Carlos Santana!

Absolutely! I was working as a DJ at a rock and roll station in San Jose, California when Carlos Santana burst on the music scene with "Evil Ways," and my personal favorite, "Black Magic Woman." Probably, because as a Black woman, I claimed "Black Magic Woman" as the song that made up for all the years of being denied our beauty and intelligence when measured by Eurocentric scales.
The music scene of the late 60's to the beginning of the 80's remains unmatched in the number of talented muscians, the breadth and depth of their originality, and their authentic capture, reflection and expression of a country coming to grips with iits true nature of white entitlement and emperialistic tendencies.
Carlos Santana's music never fails to transport me back to the most amazing times, shared with others of like mind, heart, and spirit.

Carlos Santana IS my favorite rock guitarist!
I'm pleased to boast I put forward a successful effort to acquire virtually all of his vinyl and CD recordings during years passed.
While knowing I do not have ALL, I certainly have enough to be able to listen uninterrupted for days without end. He makes that guitar cry.
