One of the best renditions of our anthem was by Huey Lewis and the News at a baseball game,an all star game perhaps,maybe a world series game. No accompaniment,just their beautiful voices blending perfectly. Awesome version of our wonderful anthem.

It was the 1987 Baseball NLCS game. As a

big fan of theirs, it is a sweet and pure

lol,You're not butting in at all. I never could find it on my own so I'm grateful for the help. He had such a magnificent rock voice and yet could sing our anthem beautifully as well. I miss their work.

So I have "American Tune" on the playlist from Simon & Garfunkel Live in Central Park, but it's no longer available on Spotify, so it dropped off the list - just added Paul Simon's studio version - thanks for pointing it out. And also thanks for the U2 song - had forgotten about that one...
