Yes.  But it was before the new system.  I lost the auction but didn't get the points back.  As you said it takes a call to customer service to get them restored.

I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem...  After winning auctions with bids that were lower than my max bid, the points in excess of the winning bids are not automatically returned to my account.  

 

For example, recently I bid 50,000 points on a gift card; I won it for 45, 045.  The balance of 4,955 points has not been returned to my account.

 

I also bid 50,000 points on another auction; I won it for 46,778.  The balance of 3,222 have not been returned to my account.

 

In the past, I have had to call customer service and ask that points be returned. The representatives have been very friendly and helpful and made sure my points came back to my account.  Looks as if I will have to make another call for these two auctions.

 

Again, just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.  Thanks!
