Having worked in Public Service for 30 years, my major enjoyment is being AWAY FROM THE PUBLIC.

(1) Away From Those That Make Bad Legal Decisions

(2) Away From Those That Make Bad Life Decisions

(3) Away From Those That Purposely Live Off The Public Dole

(4) Away From Those That Haven't Worked a Steady Job Their Entire Life

(5) Away From Those That Purposely Don't Pay Their Bills

(6) Away From Those That Commit Fraud Or Other Crimes

I believe we all need some sense of purpose and most are not content to just sit and whittle time away.  I am thankful for good health and sufficient resources that I need not budget nor scrimp.  Perhaps frugality just builds resources, ensuring reliable security, a major frustration for many.  

Bottom line, good health is critical as mobility, an ability to venture is important, so one doesn't feel saddled, constrained.
