You can go to any of the brokerage sites (Fidelity, T Rowe Price, Schwab, Vanguard, etc.) and find a calculator. We all know you start at 70 1/2 (actually, it can be delayed until following year). The calculation you need is the amount to withdraw so you don't get hit with a penalty.  You can easily calculate that yourself, but it's simple to use someone else's calculator. I would do it manually and use a calculator, to be sure. 


Just think. The world was built by the lowest bidder.

Seen an article several months ago about a site that calculates when you should begin taking distributions without having to go to financial broker. It was free and

and all you had to do was put your birthday in.... Thank You
