Hi All,
Looking to retire in a few years and we are thinking about wintering in Florida. We were thinking about buying a used trailer in a nice 55+ community. Does anyone have any suggestions? Our budget is not huge (<60K). We have found that management is not overly upfront with the monthly HOA. Do you live in a communuity like this that you love? Please let us know.
Kindly,
Ron
Ron,
I am not sure of where you want to winter since Florida is a big state! There is a community called Ancient Oaks near Okeechobee, FL. South central FL. It is fairly reasonable (HOA) and fits your budget for a small unit. I know several people who live there, but don't myself. You can get information online that tells more about it. Good luck, there are probably many choices in the state!
