Retirement planning tends to focus on the financial, but the change in your identity can be as jarring as the change in your income. Itโs important not to overlook the psychological and emotional aspects of the transition.
Carolyn Amabile Ross understood this when she retired from a career in marketing and communications in 2012 at age 65. She was determined to enjoy a fulfilling retirement and set a positive example for her five younger sisters.

โก๏ธ[*** When COVID arrived in 2020 here in my area of Virginia - I decided to retire. Earlier than planned.
By NOW in 2025, I thought 5 years LATER, it would be "under" control.
Nope, we are still having our surges and I am still NOT doing any MASS INDOOR meetings or events. The way I see it, we have NO way to check EACH building's VENTILATION SYSTEM is maintained properly.
Apart from the SURPRISE of COVID, I am enjoying retirement & trying NEW things. ๐
