A couple of recent sweepstakes, including Boost Your Bike Riding Sweepstakes, have an end time of 8:59 a.m., et, on the last day. For those on the East Coast, this might not be much of an issue, especially for anybody who gets up at 5 or 6 to get ready for work, or any other reason for rising at that hour, and likes to get on AARP to enter the drawings.
For somebody in the Windy City and South, a person would have to do this by 7:59 a.m., ct.
For somebody farther west, a person would have to do this by 6:59 a.m., mt.
On the Pacific Coast, a person would have to do this before 5:59 a.m., pt, on that last day.
Can't we have all sweepstakes end at the end of the calendar day, at 11:59 p.m., et? Even earlier in the evening at 8:59 p.m., et, or so would still help. Having the final moments of a sweepstakes early in the morning puts many of us at a disadvantage toward the last few entries.
Stay well and enjoy!
