At least you can use a grocery store gift card if available.  Where I live we have no large grocery chains at all.  The only large retailer is Walmart.  All the ones carried here are not available within a few hundred miles of me.

@garyfish49   I couldn't get the Barnes and Noble, either.  The site was down for "scheduled maintenance" and when I finally could get in, they were sold out.  I really don't think anything was scheduled in prime hours.  Maybe a rush on the first good card in ages.   Did get $10 Macy's but really wanted Barnes and Noble.

Thank you for posting about the $5 Panera gift card offer at 7PM, last night...

I had already used my 3 redemptions for Apr., however, I redeemed for

one of those when the clock struck 12.

There isn't another one that I want out there now left from last month

or one that is part of the new May Extra Regret-it Rewards.  So, I was glad

to at  least get that Panera offer as my first redemption this month.

It turned out to be the only gift card for points that I wanted.
