@rednexsrus   I don't mind Uno as there is one near me.  I understand folks don't want one if they don't have that vendor near them.  There are a bunch, like Albertson's, that are not in our area.   I figure that those I can't use will be gotten by someone who can, and theoretically, leave something else for me.  Have not gotten three redemptions in a long time.   $5 not worth bothering unless you could get more than one.

You're right about Uno, if the vendor is close by and you patronize them then that's really great.  I don't follow managements way of thinking when it comes to offering these reward e-cards. We (members) only get 3 redemptions per month, and when you avoid cards that you cannot use and are limited to only one vendor per redemption then that reduces your chances of winning even more.

Going back to redeeming 3 redeems for one vendor/business seems feasible. Sure you have rack up the points for that, but I am totally game for this to happen. The latest and the greatest is really the worst-case scenario, and a good reason for members to become non-members, until they (AARP) decide to make that change. 😉

@rednexsrus   I didn't see it, either.   Your post made me think about redemptions for members versus nonmembers.  I would think AARP would want to make the better rewards for members only in order to increase membership.   Likewise, the number of redemptions should differ:  either more for members or only one for nonmembers.  Those being sent to the site by sweepstakes type sites are not the people AARP wants to reach much less giving the better rewards to.   There may be sweepstakes' laws that apply to those rewards but the regular ones already show the capability of "members only."

These are redeems since the new month restart, on 01/01/2022. Funny how they are still available, IMO, right now (up for grabs, if you will, 24 hours later). Are members just sick, and tired, of 5.00 redeems? I know I am. Not the best way to ring in the new year. Same ol', same ol'. Do not just redeem, unless it's meaningful. Quality over quantity.

many aarp members do not live near a red robin krispy cream or ihop 

limited to stores that 5$ is 5 off an order i will use at some point like amazon

or safeway target and a few i can send to my grandson, i am not even able to find 3 i can use that are not sold out quickly before i see them each month ..

the original rewards program was very good

the 2nd one was more difficult to navigate but but still good rewards

this one is very simple with need to do extra keystrokes like NEXT when i answer a question

sick and tired is being nice, how about nauseating.

Anyway: Red Robin only in a few locations & way too expensive

Krispy Kreme, not really a do-nut too packey & dry. 

IHOP, I was there last week, quality has gone way down, pancakes tough and rubbery  big mistake when they dropped their pecan waffles.

Apple, products are way too expensive so what good is $5. They could offer AARP at least $15 - $25 gift cards

I hope these GC's remain in the catalog for the entire month.

Tried to redeem for one of them but no redemption button loads (tried mobile and desktop). Not the first time this has happened. I think the bug must be impacting others as well and that's why they're still available. 

Another year, and the site continues to suck.

@RobertS748050 If you're trying to redeem an extra credit item, be sure to complete all of the extra credit lessons so that the redemption button loads: https://www.aarp.org/rewards/redeem/extracredit/

I had the same problem. Go back to the Extra Credits and see which one is unticked/open. Mine was a quiz. Once I completed the quiz, the redeem for that opened up. 🙂

Target,Walmart,Sam’s Club in just the last few days my my my. They sure didn’t leave those Sold Out tiles up very long at all. Never saw them .

Would not have done me any good anyway as I lost out on two reward redemptions for December b cause of a malfunction in the Extra Credit Rewards Cain’t say a whole lot right now as AARPTeri has promised she would look into what happened. Hope she will keep her word

It's a double 'situation.' I hope @AARPTeri makes things right for you. In addition, did you attempt to redeem any of the newly added redemptions, at the start of the month? I caved and redeemed the IHOP, only because I already have 20 bucks accumlated. Why not. It's hard to get 3 individual redemptions in one month, sometimes. 😉

@rednexsrus   Hope your issue gets resolved.  I stopped staying up to midnight after two disappointing extra credit months a while back.   Not worth losing sleep over, literally.  Now it will be a test tonight to see if I ring in the new year.....haven't for several years but might be watching football, lol.
