@ReTiReD51  I'm trying to think of the last time I 'celebrated' New Years in the traditional sense ... was I 30? Probably. Some people are old souls. I was just born an old fogey. Smiley Wink

Thank you for the well wishing! I hope you guys have a wonderful New Years celebration, too.

Do You Stay Up to Ring in The New Year?

When we were younger, we stayed up all night for all kinds of things, including to ring in the new year.

But I do not even know the last time I was still awake at midnight on New Years. What a fuddyduddy, right?  Dear Hubby and I might observe the day with (weather permitting) a bike ride or snowshoe outing or a picnic in front of the fire. We might turn on the disco light and dance a bit, but we don't bother with champagne, we don't invite friends over, we don't even consider going out and we're generally in bed by 9:45. See? Fuddyduddies.

Go ahead and shame us: who here makes a point to ring in the new year and what are your celebrations like? Smiley Happy
