One Summer, a bunch of years ago I had the privilage to be a part of a few bored Vets that noticed most of the kids in our neighborhood were walking instead of riding bikes. So we got it in our heads to start checking around. Bike shop repair techs, Pawn Shops, etc. By October we were spending a lot of our free time rebuilding BMX bikes for Kids. Anyway, by the time Christmas was getting close, we ony then realized that we had around 60 bikes!   We only needed around 13 or so, I think it was. We ended up picking out the bikes each that fit the child it was going to, the rest went to the Local Toy Drive.  I love that memory because it reminds me that even a passing notion can become a widespread act of random kindness. It's a fact. I've seen it happen...
