I was walking down the street one cold snowy morning and came by an elderly man without a coat or gloves.  I asked him if he would like to go into a nearby coffee shop and sit awhile with me and share something warm to drink.  His reply was that the shop owners didn't like people like him inside their stores.  And so, I gave him my scarf, hat, gloves and coat, then went home as fast as I could.  As I said, it was very cold that morning.  I never saw him again, but I never forgot him to this day.  I do hope things looked up for him.
