It was about a week before Easter and I had no baskets for my kids and I was getting dish soap and a couple small things of candy from the dollar store. I went to pay for it all ($7) knowing I did have the money on my card and it wouldn't go through. I was almost in tears and told the cashier that I was sorry and I would put everything back when the guy behind me said that he would buy it all. I asked if he was sure and he said yes think of it as an early Easter present. I was so happy. I wanted to hug him but know that some people do not like to strangers touching them so I told him thank you at least a dozen times. While it is such a small gesture I was so grateful for it because I knew it would make my kids happy.
