Concur with Cent, well put. Do like your description of “wibble wobble” to describe trump...I also describe this as being mentally unstable.

I am both saddened and angry that we have a president who puts his own interests ahead of the interests of our Country.

Much more is starting to come out as to the real actions of trump, rudy, flynn and others. Very illegal actions by all to get paid by a foreign country to carry out very questionable actions...may more continue to come out!

Definitely unstable.  Like a wobble doll.  Going in all different directions.

No one  should be surprised by what happened. This is how trump always operated. He has business in Turkey, and Turkey has a Dictator running it.  Lets look at he Kurds. Trump used them for his own purposes. We do not know what he promised them to join our fight with ISIS, but we do know when something more important to him came along he threw them under the bus just like he has always done in business and govt. Trump tells all they did not help in Normandy during WW2. They are a class of people not a country so it shows how corrupt Trump is and only a fool would believe anything he says.

Now to Turkey. Not along ago Turkey and Russia were almost at war after Turkey shot down a Russian plane flying over a few miles of its territory. Lets look at Turkey and Michael Flynn. He was on their payroll. One story that has not returned was Turkey wanted the Cleric who opposed the Turkey President and lives in Pa. back for trial. The plan was they would kidnap him out of the US and take him back to Turkey. Flynn was involved in this, and that means so was Trump. It was stopped by someone. We see Rudy was the attorney for the rich Turk who was on trial here in the US, and Turkey wanted him released. Trump talked to Sec. of State and asked him to get the JD to drop charges. Tillersion refused and told Trump that was against the law. There is a lot we do not know.

What you see is Trump. He is a mob boss and this is how they operate. Have no fear this type of thing is happening in every area of our government you just have not head about it. Now do something about it. Trump no, and no to everyone running with a R behind their name.

Syria Could be Turkey’s Vietnam

Erdoğan may believe striking a blow against Kurds while confiscating their oil is a win for Turkey, but he is wrong: He is simply opening the door for a war of attrition that Turkey cannot afford and which it ultimately might lose.

True. but it all hurts the United States. Allowing any of the ISIS members out of prison is very dangerous. Trump has really screwed up.

Now Trump calls the Turkish offensive a "bad idea".  Could be because his buddies Mitch and Lindsey and others are not jumping on his bandwagon for this one.  He talks about expecting Turkey to avert a humanitarian crisis and not allow IS to regain control.  Well, that may be out the window, too.  5 civilians reported dead due to shelling.  Trump is doing his wibble-wobble thing.  First, with the big talk, then he backs off and starts two-stepping his way around the consequences.

How many times did Donnie tweet about the Turkish invasion today?  Once.  And it was promptly buried by an incessant stream of babbling anti-Dem, anti-inpeachment, anti-Biden rants and last I checked, he was still at it. Go see for yourself.

Turkey launched a planned military offensive into northeastern Syria, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced Wednesday, just days after the Trump administration announced it was pulling US troops back from the border area.

The action is directly aimed at clearing US-back Kurdish forces, the People's Protection Units (YPG),  which have been a key ally of the US in the fight against ISIS.

Some things are for certain. trump does not give a crap about any of our allies who sacrifice for our cause. trump sides with authoritarian dictators that rule over him.

And I am sure that he is more concerned about doing what erdogan wants, so that trump can protect his business interests, versus human lives.

And is this similar to trump letting the saudis have their way in Yemen?

Everything about trump is self centered,

nothing is respectable!

No way they do this without Putin's stamp of approval, and NBC reported this morning that Syrian (Assad) forces would be cooperating. Turkey is, after all, invading Syria.

One of the rebel groups will be with the Turkish forces. There has been little love with Assad in Turkey. Keep in mind that there are reports Russian forces will also be there. This zone has been a home for the PKK  (Turkish Kurds and terrorists.) for a long time. I agree Trump would love to do the same thing to Mexico. If Trump becomes our Dictator do not be surprised if he moves that way. This is a training ground for him on how to do it.
