While "Drain The Swamp" is supposed to be aimed at 99% of Plutocrats in Congress, which is the ship of fools here.

What does that mean? Surely you didn't think that "drain the swap" meant censor the discussion boards.

By her looks the First Lady would like to join them in leaving. They say she signed an agreement not to do that until after his term. Time will tell.

I have seen nothing about "tax-exempt" except for the "tax-exempt" 47%. What are you talking about????

Democrats need a counter to the taxscams foust on the Nation by rapacious Republican toadies.

How do they counter it - increase the 47% to.....what? 55%......63%.....what is your 'druthers??

How about repeal of the Reagan scam and a return to the (inflation adjusted) tax brackets used in 1980 with a Standard deduction equal to twice the poverty level and up to $10,000 contributed to personal retirement accounts or dependant child's college fund, mortgage interest or rent paid up to the rate for 30-year Treasuries plus 2% applied to the average cost of a new home. Double the Standard deduction for over 65 and an additional Standard deduction if blind or totally disabled. Special deduction for the first $1,000,000 of any inheritance or lottery winning and donations to charity up to 12% of total income.

And here we go again, looking back in bitterness 30 years. Time to move on, scout.

No special treatment for investment income, deferred interest, real estate income, gambling losses, gifts to minors, adjusted basis of trusts or any other "complication" to the current tax code.

In short, Democrats need to actually offer a tax package that encourages the growth and propserity of THE MIDDLE CLASS, even if the Uberrich might have to go back to living like Kings as they did before the Reagan Scam and not being able to keep all the profits they give to themselves from the businesses they control.

It sounds like you want some sort of a "wealth redistribution" scheme built into our tax code. Is that true??

Your second post consisting of only a repetitive key entry has made it further clear that you have nothing to contribute.

There is no need for you to keep clogging up the forum with a repetitive key entry just to post something!

In all fairness and as a matter of courtesy to others, it is unnecessary and rather rude,  for you rk9152 or anyone, to quote more than the last two or three comments in your replies.

And it is rather prejudicial of you, chas, to single out a single poster for your chastising.

You failed to realize that all you replied with was successive posts consisting of a repetitive key entry ...... adding nothing to the topic's discussion and only clogging up the forum!

Please note your lack of topic content.

Says the poster who replies with repetitive adolescent key entries.

Rather, "please note" your lack of awareness.

I was clearly addressing a comment that was already off topic.
