Concur on the strategy about impeachment and not running that as an issue. And Dems cannot have a strategy of just running against trump.

Perhaps speak out against his policies, but they must develop good policies to present to their voters...then again maybe present policies which are the exact opposite of trump’s!!

And where does Lindsey “waffles” Graham really stand? Afraid of not getting another free round of golf?

I believe you are correct but the division in this country is so great, that you cannot convince people to stop attacking Trump, to really look at the policies. not at his tweets or his lies of anything that he has to say.
Look at what this Administration has done and the harm that this division has done to all.
We really need to win, and if the people don't change their strategy and the Democrats don't run on the issues we will  not see that wave that everyone is talking about.

Trump talks about what Bill Clinton did wrong.

Trump said Bill Clinton should have "taken the 5th". Perhaps that's what Trump plans on doing...

What I have been seeing from the Democrats in Congress is what I consider he right approach for the moment.

To  start talking about impeachment now, will not be conducive to a good strategy for the upcoming elections
Providing a pause, winning the House, and waiting for the Mueller investigation to be completed is probably the best strategy to deal with i this Administration.

The first thing that needs to happen is to win the HOuse or the Senate or both. and not scare people with an impeachment only road to win an election because you are going to need a lot of Independents and a lot of Moderate Republicans to vote with the Democratic Party and extremists of any kind will  not do well at this time.

To attempt WHATABOUTISM between this and Trump's Treason is absurd, yet the GOPers keep trying..

Well, they've already scraped a hole in the bottom of the barrel looking for excuses, so whataboutism is all they've got left.

From the video about the Bill Clinton Impeachment....

"I do not think that unless these misconducts raise the level of an assault on our fundamental political system, that they're impeachable, even if every one of them is true."

"This was not an impeachable offense."

Yet, Lindsey Graham says "You do not have to be convicted of a crime" to be impeached, and you can be impeached "if your conduct is clearly out of bounds". Wow. A pretty broad definition of impeachment.

If the Dems take the House of Representatives, can we assume Lindsey Graham will stand by his words?

I don't think they'll go easy on Trump (if it comes to that), even if the economy is going well.

During the Clinton Impeachment Hearings, the economy was doing fine, stock market rising, no wars, budget surpluses, and Bill Clinton had an approval rating much higher than Trump's. I think Trump is vulnerable. Very vulnerable if Dems do well in 2018 elections.

Bill's version is a tad lacking - he accepted freely offered and delivered knobbers because the provider was a reasonably attractive adult woman and he was a 49 year-old male with a fairly typical libedo and ego. Stupid on his part? Yes. Criminal? No.
