As some of you no doubt used to say at marches, "Power to the people".

And those who listen to trump, "dumbing down America", you get what you deserve.

Kind of related:  Has anyone see this yet?   “The greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance,” Fry says in the clip. “It is the illusion of knowledge.”

Trump and many of his staunch supporters may be suffering from the Dunning Kruger effect.

It also reiterates the prevailing belief that people don't let facts change their opinions.  They hold tight to their opinions, almost no matter what.  But apparently if you butter them up first, and make them feel good about themselves, they are more likely to see your point of view.

Which may be a way to get through to some folks -- by NOT bashing them.   And yes, I realize I just bashed a bunch of people with this whole Dunning Kruger effect idea.

It seems to me that donaldvoters have inadvertently supported something just short of chaos. That's what happens when people don't "keep the light on".

Let's all hope he doesn't stumble in his travels out of the country coming up very shortly.
