Nothing contrived, nothing fallacious - Abu Ghraid is not relevent.

The thread clearly shows otherwise as you used "Abu Ghraid" to contrive a fallacious statement about what another poster had posted.

Replying to that poster, you posted that you  "had not heard of illegal immigrants being placed in Abu Ghraid. Can you substantiate that?"

The poster you addressed NEVER stated that .... you contrived it!

And to make matters more absurd, you then demanded that the poster substantiate what YOU contrived.

Well, if you never heard of Abu Ghraib housing illegal immigrants, a simple "no" would have been a good answer.

Never said any such thing rk. So now you're placing your words into my comments as well.

Let's focus - do you think Abu Ghraib is part of this discussion?

Part of this discussion? ....... That ship sailed when YOU made it part of this discussion by using it to contrive a comment that another poster never made.

Of course you can back that up?   So now when someone has a different opinion than you they are supporting Putin?  One thing I learned in propaganda classes was that adversaries attempt to accuse others of what they are in an attempt to discredit them.  There is plenty of that going on here.

This topic has been carried entirely off from the original.

Well I know now what is behind your thinking. Thanks for the info. I have a feeling you are confused on which class you took. Yours was how the Russians use propaganda in the US to further their aims. I hear that if the Russians feel a person in this country does the propaganda work well enough for them they will be invited to a dinner in Moscow and sit at a table in the front of the room like Jill Stein, and M Flynn did.

It is not relevant and someone brought it up. And you continue to beat that dead horse.

Yet it was "relevant" enough for you when you used it to contrive a fallacious statement about what another poster had posted!

The "dead horse" is your "continual" denial of what you previously posted as it's there for ALL to see!

You say it isn't relevant,

Never said that rk ..... So now you're back to your game of putting your words into my post.

we are in agreement at last.

Not even close .....

Let's clarify - do you think it is relevant?

I wonder why our own allies see how Trump is changing the world order but our own people don't?  Amazing!

Not amazing in the least. The entire GOPerbase has been fed lies for so long they can no longer identify Truth. They think kidnapping and brutalizing infants and children makes them strong and secure, so why would they have any interest in stopping it from happening? Besides, they all love the fact the Republicans running the for-profit confinement camps are getting $970/day/child, a profit level that not even Albert Speer could achieve in his camps.

And now Albert Speer as the Nazi obsession continues.

A question though - how does a rational people consider obeying a Court order stating that a child cannot be imprisoned more than 20 days to be "kidnapping"?

An interesting aside - our resident Marxist gets all atwitter if "profit" is involved and yet in another topic the government building facilities to deal with their responsibilities was considered building "reeducation camps".

A report, co-written by the University of Chicago Law School's International Human Rights Clinic, says the U.S. government "has failed to provide adequate safeguards and humane detention conditions for children in CBP (Customs and Border Protection) custody."

"These failures," it says, "have allowed a culture of impunity to flourish within CBP, subjecting immigrant children to conditions that are too often neglectful at best and sadistic at worst."

Attempts by Democratic members of Congress to enter the "confinement" facilities have been met with staunch refusals by the for-profit owners of the camps, and when entry was granted, the Congressmen were told then could not take pictures or recordings of the inmates.

Eyewitness reports from medical personal working in the camps substantiate evidence of the children being brutalized and teenage boys and girls being confined in the same sleeping quarters without any supervision.

Nobody in the city of Dachau admitted anything unusual about the "work camp" just outside town.

No Republican is going to rat out a system that shovels $970 tax dollars for each inmate each day into the coffers of the other Republicans running the camps.

You want to know what's really going on in these camps, you MUST eliminate the Republican Congress's ability to block investigation and conceal the facts.

VOTE OUT THE NRAGOP IN NOVEMBER.

Dachau again - that is quite an obsession with Nazis you have there.

Let's put this one to sleep - how many were sent to Dachau as a result of trying to sneak into Germany illegally?
