And how would that work? It sounds like forcing people ...lack of a persons choice.

It appears that is highly likely as more and more of the 18-30 crowd realize donny and the GOPers are out to screw them to the wall, economically speaking, and leave them with a climate disaster of Biblical proportions.

Now if only those kids will stay informed and VOTE.

Yes, it's looking like one of most important issues that will galvanize and spur young people to vote is the current president's total dismissal of accelerated climate change and his total disregard for their future.

Yep - and with the soccor moms who FINALLY realized it was a bad idea to vote for a wussy-grapper with 19 women chareging him with sexuial assault, OR such a Toad's supporters,  looks like donny and the GOPer majority in the Senate are toast. Again -IF THEY VOTE.

Interesting concepts for consideration.
Along with a National holiday to vote, voters rights to ensure everyone can vote, elimination of dark money contributions for campaigns, and elimination of the electoral college.
We can make our system better and more inclusive, for sure.

One thing is for sure, low voter turnout has caused our youth to think that it's unimportant to vote. We have no one to blame but ourselves, they learned from us.

I support automatic voter registration at the age of 18 and mandatory voting.

@Roxanna35

Then I started researching and found that only 18% of college students voted in the 2016 election. That's 82% that didn't vote.

Sad to think these students are the future of our Country.

I encourage my Grand Daughter and all her friends who CAN NOT STAND The Donald to vote. Any time any news comes up I remind them again, they must vote and then to encourage their friends.

IMHO, all citizens should be automatically registered to vote on their 18th birthday and we should have mandatory voting.
