First of all, it seems very obvious that you read into what people post exactly what you want the posts to say.  I never said this was one college professor's opinion!  as a matter of fact,  I said that I have taught this and believe this. I said  I've talk to social studies teachers who have taught and believe this. I said I've talked to many other people, both well educated and not as wellwell-educated who believe this.

I will agree with you on one point though, you were certainly not an expert when it comes to this subject!

I'll make it easy on you though you give me five credible experts who deny the commonalities between Hitler and Trump.   Going by the guidelines you have set,  be careful one of them might actually have great knowledge in this and have actually taught it or really read more than just a few books on the subject.

Bitterness over the election is getting old. you guys need to come up with another excuse for this wave of protest throughout the country over Trump and his lies and his total incompetence.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------What incompetence? He is doing everything I voted for him to do. Not too happy about his health care plan because it has too much of Obamacare left in it. Overall -happy with is 52 days in office.

I said I`m not an expert but I don`t consider  myself to be gullible enough to accept one man`s opinion as gospel. (especially if he is a college professor at a liberal college)

As I said earlier, possibly in another tgread,  I wouldn't care if Minnie Mouse were in office as long as she were capable,  which Trump is not.

I have no cure for denial with regard to the similarities between Trump and Hitler.

There are no similarities in any way to Trump and Hitler. The truth is that Obama took us down a long road to Socialism and the American people said that is not who we are in the November election. The Left has to change their mind set if they are ever want to become relevant again. (enough of this Hitler frenzy-it just isn`t working)

Hey Tx-- Hitler came to power at a time when the Germans  were  suffering economically. Trump came to power at a time when many Americans were suffering economically. Both told their followers that only they could help them.   Both tried to suppress the Free Press Hitler succeeded.  Both scapegoated people. Hitler the Jews,  Catholics, Gypsies, and anyone else who didn't agree with him. Trump scapegoated Muslims,  the press,  and anyone else who didn't agree with him!!

IT there are a lot of similarities.

PC wrote-and you think text that the fact that these two gentlemen and myself know the history of World War II and the coming of Hitler took power is biased? Come on, that just doesn't even make sense.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Read a few history books and all of a sudden there are experts of World war 11 on the board. I read a few book on World war 2 and my father fought in that war and I don`t cosnsider myself an expert. However I don`t consider the FAKE history of Trump being like Hitler to have any credibility.

I'm saying that attempting to linking this administration/Trump to Hitler's rise and government together is biased.  Apparently you are denying that I'm not familiar with Hitler and his government also?  Even growing up during his regime, albeit during and immediately after the Second World War?

If you look at the circumstances of Hitler's rise to power and Trump's there is some similarity but not the same.  Hitler rose to power during the Great Depression while Trump was elected when illegal immigration was high and American companies was fleeing the country.
