Socialism has been clearly defined and explained. Some would rather fight than get into an honest discussion on the subject. Some would even like to participate in a separate topic attacking Conservatives for even bringing the issue up.

Folks - stop being so defensive. Socialists aren't evil people, don't be afraid of it.

I like our socialized fresh water, sanitary sewer, and storm drain systems; versus the mess it would be otherwise.

Heck, I even like our socialized security systems of police and national defense.

Certainly some of these systems could use some tweaks in various ways. But overall I think things are better with these socialized services than without them.

.....and our socialized National Park's.....space program.....

It must be horrible to be so afraid of things you can't see, hear, or describe.  "Be wary of the Stobor!!!"

As you know the experts have told us about the far right they have trouble thinking for themselves, and are mostly uneducated so that means they understand little so the are afraid of anything that is new or different, or not given to them by their leaders.

I think to them, it's any government program or activity that benefits people they don't like. In contrast, they do like those same sort of things if the benefit people they like (the 1% and themselves.)
