Re: Who will betray Trump?

I predict that the entire republican senate won't vote for impeachment   . As rotten as Trump was to Sessions and Cruz they have swallowed whatever pride they ever had and support Trump and it speaks for the entire party.

Setting aside their moral values what is important is that .Trump has  cut taxes for the rich.  rolled back Obama's regulatory laws,    appointed bushels of conservative judges plus a rock-star Supreme Court Justice,    . They  side with Trump on illegal immigration and don't care about the children separated from parents.   The republicans don't care if around 700 women die or suffer life-long problems in pregnancy ....their very existance should be dedicated to providing heirs and spares...because ... to the conservatives  there is no greater authority than religion backed by the govt's law and good fellows of the American legal system.

There is a sizable number of Republican senators and representatives who believe Trump’s actions are at least theoretically impeachable, who believe a thorough fact-finding mission is necessary, who believe his removal from office is not an altogether radical idea.Trump cannot stand to be embarrassed—and there is no greater embarrassment to a president than being impeached, much less with the abetting of his own tribe. There is an urgency, then, not only to limit defections but eliminate them. In the hunt for traitors, Trump will sow the seeds of, not only his own destruction, but that of the GOP.

The polls will determine which GOPers grow spines and vote to Impeach and Remove. Right now, there's still a sense crossing Cadet Bonespurs could "primary out" Partiotic Republicans, but when the primaries are over, expect a sizable increase in those who openly question whether we should have a ToadPOTUS who cannot tell the truth because he has no idea what that might be.
