Let's try a different approach. Why is it important if Schiff knew a complaint from a whistleblower would be coming before his committee? This is not abnormal, so what's the problem? I suspect just the name "Adam Schiff" acted as a trigger.

Schiff is guilty of breaking Intelligence Committee rules by not sharing the whistleblower complaint with Republican members of the body because “classified info brought to the committee from outside sources MUST BE SHARED WITH BOTH SIDES.”

Well gee whiz......certainly something we can look forward to investigating after Trump is impeached, isn't it?

https://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/article/2019/sep/25/what-whistleblower-law-says-about-shari...

Specifically, the law says intelligence whistleblowers should submit their complaints to the inspector general of the intelligence community, who is supposed to act independently.

The inspector general is required to review complaints within 14 days and determine whether they are of "urgent concern," meaning they report a serious problem, abuse, or violation of the law "relating to the funding, administration, or operation of an intelligence activity within the responsibility and authority of the director of national intelligence involving classified information."

Any credible complaints must then go to the director of national intelligence, or DNI, who has seven days to forward them to the intelligence committees in Congress along with any relevant documents.

In the event that the inspector general ignores a complaint or determines that it is not credible, a whistleblower can reach out to Congress directly, but only after he or she alerts the inspector general and receives guidance from the DNI on how to keep those communications secure.

Kid has no evidence Schiff spoke to the Whistleblower because....that has not yet happened.  No matter, alt-facts are to be embraced.  So sorry (see above).

Sorry but I don't see where he lied. Are you saying he did speak directly to the Whistle Blower?

Playing games again...just like Ms Manners.

I am not sure how  Ms Manners comes into this but you seem to think that Schiff had to speak directly to the whistle blower in order to be aware of his/her charges and that is just not the case.  Words mean things. It is why Trump is about to be impeached for abuse of power.

Whistleblower Spoke To Schiff Aides Before Filing Complaint

It's Fox who is playing games with their viewers, because they know their viewers never question nor challenge what Fox or Trump tells them.

  • All reputable sources report that Adam Schiff knew there was a serious whistleblower allegation, but he didn't know the specific details.
  • He knew there was an allegation because a representative of the whistleblower went to the committee to ask why the complaint was being blocked.
  • If they're confused or have questions, the complainant is supposed to go directly to the committee for advice.
  • Adam Schiff, or the committee members, instructed the representative to have the whistleblower contact an attorney to help him/her ensure the complainant followed the proper protocols.
  • Adam Schiff never met the whistleblower and didn't know the specific details of the complaint.
  • All of the above is routine and complies with the whistleblower protocols.

But in Trump World, people like Kidboy, who doesn't care about the President violating the law, are much more worried about Adam Schiff. This is how they do it in Trump World, deflect attention away from their hero in the White House.

None of the above changes anything in the Whistleblower's allegations. Nor does it change the words and actions of Donald Trump. In other words, it's irrelevant. Why can't Fox viewers grasp this key, basic concept and concentrate on what Trump did?
