Sounds like the thinking of the PP founder Sanger (the eugenicist).

And back to where this roundabout began - two people working, both only qualified for a minimum wage job, are they paid differently or the same?

Well, I guess my question is, what is wrong with having social programs to aide her/him into providing a better life for her/himself?  Programs that will help with housing costs, employment assistance or education assistance until they are now at a tax level where they are no longer in the poverty/extreme low income rate? Just the reverse of the "death tax" that so many wealthy are afraid they will loose if they are taxed at a more fair rate? Why do some feel it is so imperative that we continue paying a society of incarcerations of the new jails for profit? What is wrong with rehabilitation, job skills training and societal aids for those people instead of the continual dumping into that?  Why are we pouring millions upon millions in the killing weapon called bombs and bullets?

We have many such programs - remember the War on Poverty? What new do you propose?

Not everyone is born in the profitable zip code or the silver spoon, does that mean we just ignore those people?  Reflect on why the original settlers came here!

Two thoughts - 1) what do you think the class envy comment adds?; 2) the settlers had no welfare programs.

What access has been eliminated?

They do this because we stopped them sewing a big red "A" on the clothing of poor women who have sex.

I have seen no suggestion about an "A".

Time for them to exit the 16th century and enter the 21st. We can help with their journey forward by getting them out of elected office. Its for their own good.

The Rs were not in office in the 16th century.

Now that all the nonsense has been dealt with - what is your solution for the problems encountered by such children. As I recall suggesting reading is considered racist by some so don't go there.

Listen to the old school dogma reply. First of all, there are cases where a woman may get pregnant by forms of rape, incest, ineffective birth control along with other reasons.  It is HER body and SHE should have the right to choose what she does.  Women are not owned anymore.

Yes, there is rape, etc. What percentage of the single parent (mother) homes do you suppose was caused by rape, etc?

Yes, it is her body - are we responsible for her irresponsible use of it?

You may be right "personal responsibility" is becoming "old school dogma".

Should the child be forced to suffer because it's parents are the kinds of fools and morons that follow, support, and vote for Putin's choice - trump, and republicans?

So what is your solution for giving the child a successful future?
