When IMPOTUS Goes Off Script, It's Gets Embarrassing
I didn't watch IMPOTUS give his economic rah-rah speech, but I saw the news and the clip. He had a script, but when he extemporized, he said things like, "Hopefully, George is looking down right now and saying, 'This is a great thing that's happening to our country.' It's a great day for him. It's a great day for everybody. It's a great day for everybody. It's a great, great day. It's a great day in terms of equality."... ad nauseum.
I am speechless that he actually said this is a great day for George to know that it is a great thing happening in our country. (And said it six times in a row.)
I wish he would listen to his advisors when they tell him to stick to the script. It is embarrassing to watch a grown man, much less a president, start spewing repetitive, incoherent babble and make a token reference to equality by invoking the memory of George Floyd.
