That is no policy - it is a campaign speech that attacks the Rs, tugs at the heartstrings, and ignores thinking.

I have no idea what you are talking about - but consider the basic issue, our immigration policy. Should it be based on the needs of every person around the world or on the needs of the USofA?

Do these sound like the Immigration Policies of the Sixteen 2019 Democratic Candidates For President?

OK - then lets ask the same Question a Different Way

What is the Democratic Parties Immigration Policy in 2019?

I don't know - I don't think anyone knows - is that the end of the topic or shall we share our views of what we think would be good policy.

Why do the people who talk about MAGA keep wanting to change the things that made us great?

The DEMS have created policy on immigration, via the Senate going back several years.   The individual candidates have variations on a theme, all of which comport with having a vetting program, allowing Dreamer's to stay in the US ( no felonies, etc) and not ignore the asylum seeker vetting process.

That is quite different than the current admin in which they devised intentional plans to traumatize the children who came with their parents or were sent by their parents to the US for safety.    That sort of inhumanity is against all things that American Citizens stood for...until the current admin gave the GOP / CBP / ICE a free reign to hate "others".

But then I was raised on the border and saw people crossing the border to work as a boom to the local economy.     Well, that and that when in college, we could drive across the border and drink beer!
