All those actually paying taxes got decreases in their rates.

2017 vs. 2018 Federal Income Tax Brackets

Single Taxpayers
2018 Tax Rates – Standard Deduction $12,0002017 Tax Rates – Standard Deduction $6,350
10%0 to $9,52510%0 to $9,325

22%$38,700 to $82,50025%$37,950 to $91,900
24%$82,500 to $157,50028%$91,900 to $191,650
32%$157,500 to $200,00033%$191,650 to $416,700
35%$200,000 to $500,00035%$416,700 to $418,400
37%Over $500,00039.60%Over $418,400

Remember when Trump said he and his family would not get any breaks and they got a couple of million in breaks out of this?  Most of the tax cuts went to the top 10% and the corporations.  "Crumbs" to the middle class.  Nothing for the nations poor.

How does expecting an ally to pay their fair share turn that ally into an enemy?

Sometimes these issues require a bit more thought than typing "SPANKY".

Trump is all about the Benjamins. That is why he bills the government for his weekly vacations to Florida.  On the other hand, based on the North Korea "deal", I suspect the United States is going to end up paying for everything including street cleaners after another round of negotiations.

And the 47% non-taxpayers got nothing. That is the way tax cuts work. But, how is that related to the idea of expecting allies to pay their fair share?

Doesn`t  this make sense to all ,if the rich  pay 90 % of all the Federal tax they naturally will get bigger tax cuts than someone who pays much less or pay nothing(which 44 % do pay nothing)
