I think he panders to the fears of the people who support him. His people did their work well before the last election, and I believe that after learning what people were afraid of most, he moved right in and went to town on it and he continues to do so today.

Common sense would want the leaders of the Nation to be smarter than the rest of us, but GOPerLords know dumb sells to their base, so that's who they put on the ticket. They scour the countryside looking for nitwits who actually believe climate change is a hoax, outlawing abortion will end abortion and the Universe is 6,000 years old. Now, with the help of the KGB, they've got a ToadPOTUS who wants to remake our Democracy into a Corporate Oligarchy, and their base thinks it's just GREAT.

No way to reason with that level of reality denial, so we need to make sure we never again act as if the Democratic candidate is no better than the GOPer, and it won't make any difference who wins.

Centrist, thanks for uploading those great inaugural photos. And yes, Trump is the ultimate Con Man. He's so good, that his cult members don't have a clue they're being conned by the mob boss in the White House.

The Con-man is here....this is how he screwed investors of his properties by lying to them about how many units had sold and the benfits.  Change the metrics and you're a hero.....just like his made up numbers that attended his innauguration....

Crowd science professor Keith Still estimated the total attendance at 300,000 to 600,000 people, or one-third the estimated 1.1 million to 1.8 million people that attended Obama's 2009 inauguration – which set a record for the total number of people in the National Mall at any one given time, and which marked the ...

What The Trump Administration is Up To Now

From Newsweek: "The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has plans to change the way it reports the health hazards of air pollution. That shift could lower the number of reported deaths each year due to pollution and roll back climate change protections, according to a new report by The New York Times.
The change would also fall in line with previous Trump administration efforts to lower poverty numbers in the U.S. by altering the reporting standards and to lower workplace injury reports by loosening Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) record-keeping rules. Under the proposal, the EPA would assume that there would be no health benefits to going beyond what guidelines dictate for clean air in the U.S. But scientists say that even small traces of pollutants in the air are unhealthy and can cause death in some cases.
In January, 2019, OSHA announced it would no longer require certain employers to send in information about injuries that those employers already collect. OSHA initially said the change was to protect employee privacy, but the documents collected do not contain any confidential information. Instead, the change would lead to less information about why and what kind of accidents happen on the job.
This month (May 2019), the Trump administration considered a rule change that would alter the model used to define poverty in the United States. The move would artificially lower the rate of poverty in the U.S. and could kick millions of Americans off of welfare benefits."

Please contact your Republican Congressmen/women and tell them you do not support these changes, and neither should they.
