There were Republican women wearing white too. It’s about women’s right to vote. Not Nazis for gods sake. What sick minds equate the two?

Yep - he should have been right at home with members of the Congress wearing white - but - given trump's delusional mental state - he saw fellow citizens as enemies...

No kidding.  He lauds the success of females, and when they stand and cheer for themselves, he tells them "You weren't supposed to do that".  Not a joke as he tried to pretend but a correction of the behavior they were instructed not to exhibit.  They took the limelight for one minute, didn't obey?  Well, they don't need his phony accolades, or his instructions and I'm pretty sure he didn't want to read that scripted praise of women in the first place.  Tough luck chump.  Women are going to do what women are going to do.  He still doesn't accept that fact of life.

So put blinders on that it was done in NAZI Germany, but not when it was done here in this country?  We see some strange comparisons and dismissals here on this forum.

I guess your education didn’t include what John Stuart Mill said about false analogies.

My education does serve to point out the similarities that the Democratic women is attempting emulate the Suffragette Movement.

Indeed - there are those who unsuccessfully attempt to dismiss the fact that trump is a racist, bigot, and misogynist that owes his presidency to Putin.

The following is the original caption for the photo Soosie chose to post.

A group of young girls parade in the Coburg Hauptplatz (market square), giving the "Hitler-Gruß" salute and singing the "Horst-Wessel-Lied," the unofficial anthem of the Nazi Party. The occasion was the 75th anniversary of the German gymnastics association in Coburg, 1936 ... (National Archives, RG 208)

Claim - Democrats emulate the Nazi Women's Socialist League, who wore white to support Hitler's dream of a socialist paradise.

So typical of Republicans to try and slander the new Democratic members of the House as being nazi's - a totally absurd connection designed to divert attention from the Nazi-like rallies of lil donny and his adoration of nazis who support him.

Now donny has threatened to perform his own little "burning of the Reichstaag" if anyone has the audacity to expose his criminal empire with its extensive AND decades old connections to the KGB.

Nazi's actually burned down the German "House of Government" to achieve their objective - lil donny will try and do it without actual pyrotechnics, but his purpose is identical - halt the process of Government to create a crisis that will divert attention from his criminal activities.

And the relevance is...???

I believe this is more accurate if you are referring to the women who wore white to the SOTU.

whitein1912.jpg

White dresses worn by suffragettes in 1912 as they protested to get women the right to vote.

We've come a long way, baby, but we were never a part of Nazi Germany.

America First becomes redundant when Nazi supporters take precedence over the victory our suffragettes gave American women?   That's just screwy.
