Ivanka advised as the only way to prove his innocence.  Stay on script, are you practicing your concerned/sad face tonight?  Don't neglect to take your calming meds with breakfast, again.  It's going to be a long day but well worth the effort.  Speak only when necessary, short sentences, and do not look directly into any camera lens, okay Dadkins?  You'll be Great!

Richva:   Looks like you can't rent a bus anywhere in South West Texas or the entire state of New Mexico.  Every organization seems to be organizing a car caravan to converge on El Paso tomorrow and they all blame Trump for instigating the shooting(s) with his rhetoric.

Wouldn't surprise me if his bonespurs flare up and he has to skip the visit.

"But Margo also cautioned Trump against invoking his previous rhetoric to talk about the border city."

Despite their disagreements, El Paso, Texas, Mayor Dee Margo on Monday said he will meet "in an official capacity" with   Trump.

A woman standing behind the Mayor was shaking her head in disgust.   I hope there will be a protest ....because  TRUMP  cannot be allowed to even consider that his hateful talks and twitter is OKAY.    cause no one objected.

'Drug dealers, criminals, rapists': What Trump thinks of Mexicans   Trump, who has repeatedly said  during his presidential campaign,    Now his rabid crowd mimicks his hateful remarks and don't feel a bit remorseful.....and are a bad as he is.

I think it was at least $470,000 from his campaign, and then I understand there was a little more to bring the total to over $500,000. This is what Trump has done all his life to any thing or anybody who has done business with him. One small supplier killed himself after Trump forced him out of business by not paying him for what he purchased. We elected this mob Boss President, and he acts the same way still and yet his enablers support him. How can any one support such a low life. The far right EV have sold their sole to him.

Visit El Paso? Good luck with that

The bottom line is that Trump's rhetoric has been taken as a call to commit violence against Hispanic immigrants by both the white supremacists and the immigrant community. You can argue as to whether that was Trump's plan or just more of his incompetence but everyone here believes Trump contributed to the events leading to the shooting.  Add that to the fact that he stiffed the city for almost a half million dollars the last time he came and you can see why he is not welcome.

President Trump is preparing to visit El Paso and Dayton, Ohio, on Wednesday, appearances that will not be universally welcome as the two cities grieve from weekend mass shootings that left 31 dead and many injured and rattled.

Officials in El Paso are still investigating but believe the alleged gunman posted a manifesto that echoed Trump’s harsh rhetoric on immigrants, notably describing his attack as “a response to the Hispanic invasion of Texas.”

El Paso Mayor Dee Margo (R) said at a Monday news conference that he would welcome Trump in an official capacity and ask him “to support our efforts with any and all federal resources that are available.”

But Margo also cautioned Trump against invoking his previous rhetoric to talk about the border city.

“I will continue to challenge any harmful and inaccurate statements made about El Paso,” Margo said. “We will not allow anyone to portray El Paso in a way that is not consistent with our history and values.”
